Short description: Student prepares the set of technical drawing based on delivered conceptual design documentation of a Polish single-family house. Drawings can be made using technical pen and drawing ink on trading paper or in CAD software. The drawings are as follows: ground and attic views, section view, building facades, and perspective view (obligatory hand drawing).
Full description: Ability of accurate use of weights of drawing lines to prepare a correct engineering drawings regarding to the contemporary architectural standards. Presenting of all necessary components and rooms of the house. Dimensioning and annotating of the drawings in proper scale and level of detail. Graphic representation of the components of the architectural drawings (e.g. interior furnishing, windows, doors, ventilation shafts, and other facilities). Staircase construction including total length raise and the formula for "perfect interior stairs". The architectural composition of the facades.

Learning outcomes: Knowledge: W1 – Knowledge of basics of perspective drawing, ratio, composition of drawing and sculpture space projection [AK1_W13]. W2 - Knowledge of basic rules of building design and most common used technologies. [AK1 – W07]. W3 - Basic knowledge of techniques of visualization of ideas and design of landscape architecture [AK1 – W25]. Skills: U1- is able to prepare design drawing set according to the formal requirements presented in both drawing and technical description [AK1 – U10]. U2 - collecting information accordingly to design aim from basic sources [AK1 - U08] U3 - is able to use commonly known tools for designs and design presentations [AK1 - U16] Social competences: K1 – is able to create design visualizations, manage and use of reference sources, methods and materials in accordance with the applicable scene creation rules [AK1 – K11].
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: grade obtained at classes (75%), timely delivery of assignments (25%).
